if you're in Whistler you drive out past Pemberton for about 90 minutes up gravel/jeep and paved roads. start at Tyax Lodge, get on the Tyax Air float plane (1961 DeHaviland Beaver) and cruise up to Spruce Lake. They drop you off and you have about a 5 hour day back to where you began. I got to see a grizzly bear with her cub on that trip....lifetime memories are up in those hills.
